Overview
This role within the newly created Supply Chain Planning – Optimization & Analytics group will focus on the strategic and financial aspects of supply chain to include: budgeting, forecasting, service & inventory analytics, reporting and identifying opportunities for network optimization. In addition, this role will be instrumental in supporting all communication and reporting to executives & BU leadership.
Responsibilities
+ Execution of data compilation, analysis, and presentation to support annual Supply Chain Budgeting & Forecasting (1 year horizon), and annual Supply Chain Strategic Planning (2-5 year horizon)
+ Execution of projects relative to service or inventory improvement at a customer/product line level.
+ Proactive identification of supply & demand issues and development of corrective courses of action.
+ Identify & communicate sales opportunities (excess inventory, areas of available capacity, etc) to the commercial team.
+ Development of & adherence to routine proactive analytics around service, inventory, demand, production, etc
+ Analyze profitability, capacity/capabilities and market factors to identify opportunities for growth on existing product lines, new product lines, existing customers or prospective customers.
+ Tableau reporting development to support internal analytics and external communication of supply chain data.
+ Identify, propose and execute simulations within the integrated supply chain system that look to achieve our financial aspirations.
+ Represent supply chain planning group for PMO projects and/or projects for other Pactiv Evergreen business functions (Operations, HR, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, etc.)
+ Collaborates primarily with Manufacturing Planning, Distribution Planning, Demand & Supply Systems, Operations Directors, BU Finance, Commercial Directors and FP&A.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred)
+ 4+ years of experience that includes some combination of finance, accounting, supply chain planning, logistics and/or operations.
+ Experience working with and manipulating large sets of data and demonstrated ability to translate those findings into actionable solutions & processes.
+ Ability to effectively communicate at a strategic and tactical level through all levels of the organization.
+ Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
+ Demonstrates strong project management, planning, organization and cross-functional skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficient with MS Office, SAP, JDA & Tableau.
+ Excellent with Excel
