Job Description:
Manage small to mid-scale projects including design, city approval, bidding, construction documents and administration. Lead the performance of design calculations and structural analysis for various structures including but not limited to concrete, steel, masonry and wood. Write and edit structural specifications while selecting procedures and materials. Coordinate with clients, other disciplines, and contractors. Adhere to appropriate standards and codes. Perform site visits to meet with client and determine scope of work. Analyze the company’s safety and working protocols. Work is at Employer’s headquarter office located at 960 Rand Rd, Suite 220, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Perform site visits from Client headquarters 4 times per month within 60 miles of Employer’s Headquarters with no other travel involved.
