General Purpose of Job
This position will analyze and provide guidance in the development, enrichment and maintenance of Procurement Spend Data while delivering on more complex analytics of Procurement Spent data. S/he will also act as a resource to Strategic Sourcing Management in their day to day category management activities as well as support external stakeholders while leveraging and applying knowledge of assigned areas of responsibility. Helps provide a consistent and complete pipeline of inflight, pending, ending, and future contract opportunities. This position will perform and deliver routine data analytics and metrics to support goals & objectives for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. They will also prepare and refine leadership presentations.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Collects, interprets, and analyzes data across their area of responsibility to support management decisions on projects, improve inefficiencies, and enhance business performance.
- Performs standard data mining, validation, and reconciliation of data across various applications.
- Identifies and interprets current & emerging developments, variances, and trends; researches inconsistencies/anomalies in the data and presents findings to management.
- Advises management & business stakeholders on use of quality business analytics, tools, and market information for approaches & opportunities.
- Develops queries and prepares data for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
- Leverages and applies knowledge to synthesize trends and communicate meaningful insights to management and business stakeholders.
- Prepares presentations including presenting data in charts, graphs, and tables.
- Supports team members and/or management in developing recommendations to solve problem and issues related to identified trends and data insights.
- Provide support in management and oversight of Procurement Spend data enrichment activities.
- Collaborates routinely with internal Strategic Sourcing Managers to refine spend classification and provide Rfx support as needed .
What we’re looking for
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)
- 1-2yrs experience in a financial services or similar environment in data mining, analytics, and data presentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances.
- Knowledge of the SAP Ariba procurement tool. (Preferred)
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Pay Range: $53,500 – $92,500
