Job Description:
About the Role:
The Production Supervisor role at the Pecatonica location supports operations projects, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
+ Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
+ Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and safety environment in the workplace.
+ Resolving personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action which includes administering discipline, corrective action and coaching as needed.
+ Supporting operations through development of daily schedules, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources.
Important Details: This is a full-time on-site role supporting plant production needs on 2nd shift (4p-12a), schedule flexing between 2nd and 3rd shift could be required.
About You:

+ Strong knowledge of SAP or other downtime tracking systems
+ Strong communication skills at all levels of management
+ Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing is a plus
