Position Description:

The Motus Business Development group is looking for a customer-focused sales professional to join the team as an Enterprise Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the growth of a book of business made up of some of our largest customers. This is a quota-carrying position, and you will drive revenue through renewals, upsells, and account growth.

Our ideal candidate has a shown history of exceeding revenue targets, strong organization, and influencing skills, and a high level of personal accountability and independence.

Position Duties:

  • Maintain and grow the revenue base for your book of business by driving expansion, renewal, and upsells for new products
  • Develop positive relationships with stakeholders across your customer base as well as a deep understanding of their business landscape and goals; proactively anticipate future needs and risks
  • Consult with customers on new features and product offerings to drive upsell revenue and deliver presentations on new product offerings and enhancement
  • Establish and lead a defined sequence of events for each customer opportunity
  • Drive full-cycle sale process for upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Maintain detailed customer and prospect information in Salesforce, the goal being that management can quickly understand the status of customer relationships and the sales pipeline
  • For customers with an assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM): Partner with CSMs to ensure positive engagement with the Motus platform, evaluate program changes, and navigate expansion and upsell opportunities. The EAM will ultimately be responsible for closing revenue.
  • For customers without an assigned CSM: Provide an additional layer of strategic operational support, provide education and coaching, facilitate the resolution of high-priority issues, and ensure program success, adoption, and satisfaction

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in a customer-facing, quota-carrying role as an Account Manager
  • Strong understanding of the corporate business world; prior experience in SaaS preferred
  • Strong and strategic collaborator with the ability to discern when to engage team members in the development of solutions and when to take accountability and work independently
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Proven ability and desire to work and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and project management skills; high attention to detail
  • Understanding of Internet and web applications with a desire to learn new technologies
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and derive solutions
