JOB SUMMARY

This job plays a critical role in digital product management and delivery for Highmark Health’s customer and/or clinician facing experiences. The incumbent supports digital transformation efforts as the organization shifts towards a digital product and experience-oriented culture, leveraging agile delivery methodologies. Works closely with organizational leaders both within the function and across the enterprise to ensure alignment on and execution of strategic objectives, and delivery of our next generation of digital experiences. The incumbent has a key role in developing relationships and facilitating collaborative sessions and reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment and vetting of strategic decisions. Will lead through influence, actively collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts and team members, develop project plans, lead strategic processes in the product lifecycle, and facilitate ongoing definition and delivery of product roadmaps, identify key issues and dependencies, support prioritization of capabilities, as well as facilitate presentations and recommendations to senior leaders, addressing complex issues. The incumbent will help create an environment and culture where digital product teams can do their best work by executing critical thinking and strategic action while leveraging strong communication skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Responsible for the future planning of digital work that spans multiple products and platforms, ensuring that all digital teams have honed processes and tools, and are aligned on scope, requirements, timelines, expectations, deliverables, milestones, and definition of done.

+ Leads/assists with quarterly increment planning sessions for multiple products, ensuring the work aligns with the overall digital vision and strategy of the organization.

+ Responsible for overseeing the effective simultaneous operations of multiple products and platforms within the digital department.

+ Facilitates the coordination of recurring operations meetings with representatives from various digital teams, ensuring alignment.

+ Responsible for leading/assisting with important agile ceremonies including but not limited to PI planning, increment retros, increment demos, grooming sessions, etc.

+ Closely aligns with digital and non-digital senior leadership to measure and report on overall digital progress and outcomes.

+ Establishes project/platform/cross-platform level plans with timelines, assigns tasks, sequences dependencies, and ensures completion of deliverables. Identifies, scopes, and resolves issues threatening to delay project, initiative, program, or product deliverables.

+ Mentors less senior Digital ProductOps Managers.

+ Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Technology, Design, Healthcare or related field

Substitutions

· 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree

Preferred

· Master’s Degree in Business, Science, Technology, Design, Healthcare or related field

EXPERIENCE

Required

+ 7 years of Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management or equivalent

+ 4 years with Agile Process Methodology or equivalent

Preferred

+ 4 years in the Healthcare Industry

+ 5 years of managing large, complex projects

+ Experience collaborating with digital and non-digital senior leadership, successfully driving results through quantitative and qualitative metrics

+ Proven track record of successfully planning and operationalizing digital work in a large organization

+ Leads with a customer and clinician-centric lens and advocates for a combined customer and clinician view in all interactions

+ Demonstrated ability to mentor less senior colleagues, and help them grow in their careers

Pay Range Minimum:

$92,300.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$170,800.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
