Staff Support Person (SSP) Summary
Misericordia is actively hiring SSP’s for our residential areas. This role presents the opportunity to help support our residents in reaching their highest potential. As an SSP you will assist direct care staff in providing a safe, clean, comfortable home for the residents, enhancing overall quality of life. The Staff Support Person (SSP) will work directly with the residential team, supporting in home environmental care, meal preparation, and escorting residents to programs. The Staff Support Person may also assist with community integration. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a significant difference in our residents’ lives while starting a career in the healthcare sector. No experience is necessary, we offer hands-on training that will allow you to foster as an SSP for Misericordia.
