We are seeking resumes for a Corporate Travel Assistant in our Lake Forest, IL office.

Position summary: The Corporate Travel Agent meets our corporate business travel requests in an efficient and professional manner. The corporate travel agent position is responsible for making professional, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for all clients within company guidelines and standards for excellent customer service while meeting their needs and delivering the best possible results by using knowledge of the traveling process to anticipate and solve any issues that may arise.

Key responsibilities/outputs:
Customer Interaction/Satisfaction:
* Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all customers - offer service above and beyond client expectations.
* Establish and anticipate customer needs on first contact qualify by leading customer conversations with questions and treat each inquiry with patience and focus.
* Recommend and provide efficient and alternate routes, lowest available fares, and booking class, exchange rates, and travel services.
* Offer professional and courteous customer relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications.
* Process customer requests for domestic and international reservations. Make seat assignments, request special meals, etc.
* Ensure optimum customer service at all phases of reservations.
* Communicate information to customers accurately and appropriately.
* Keep customers up to date on travel regulations, such as passport and visa requirements, etc.
Administration:
* Understand and properly use airline terminology, codes, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts.
* Monitor, sort, and work global distribution systems (GDS) queues daily to maintain quality control.
* Ensure that all reservations are processed in accordance with established customer policies.
* Aid team members when needed
Essential skills/experience:
The successful candidate for this position will have, at minimum, the following skills, experience and characteristics.
Previous experience in the travel industry with the ability to ensure professional client experiences.
Personable, presentable, service-oriented, accurate, efficient, and the ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
The ability to clearly communicate with all levels of people-via phone, email and face-to-face, MS Teams, text.
Ability to manage long work hours, and pressure at peak times.
Exceptional verbal and written skills.
Critical thinking and time management skills to evaluate different solutions and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to achieve goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
The ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Provide the information that people need to know to make decisions.
Continued interest in learning about the travel industry.
Outcomes: This position will be evaluated, in part, based on the following outcomes:
* General execution and completion of all responsibilities related to work, and other responsibilities as assigned.
* Maintenance of client files, and communications/interactions with clients, co-workers, and owners.
* Feedback from clients, owners, and other office employees.
Education and Experience:
1-3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant is a plus.
FBO /Dispatcher/Logistics experience preferred.
Proven customer service skills and abilities.
This position works within an office environment. Professionalism and discretion are required.
Position will be required to answer a telephone, communicate with clients, use a computer and various software applications, and move from area to area to ensure executives are being properly supported.
Must be knowledgeable of airport locations and frequent travel destinations.
