Job Description
Spartans Agricultural Builders, Inc. seeks Foremen Leaders. Jobs located in Rockford, IL. At the supervision of the superintendent, coordinate and supervise the work of site operatives and troubleshoot routine issues that occur at job site. Plan and assign tasks to personnel. Manage the job area. Train new personnel with respect to tools, (such as, impact wrenches, impact drivers, drills, hand tools, welder machines, plasma cutters, lasers), safety procedures, and materials. Generate weekly progress reports and send progress to supervisors. Prepare machinery operators to move heavy equipment, such as telehandlers, skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts. Communicate with clients to request missing materials and order changes. Resolve bad communication and problems among the team. Requires 6 months of experience in agricultural construction and the use of construction tools. Must have or ability to obtain driver’s license. Supervise farmworkers and laborers. Travel to unanticipated locations inside and outside the area of intended employment within continental US. No overnight will be required.
