Job Description
Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. seeks Software Controls Engineer Expert (Hillside, IL). Responsible for designing programing architectures and state machines to test and evaluate products on custom high complexity test benches. The software controls engineer will code and debug custom testing programs, determine I/O and control hardware component specifications, select sensing hardware, save, and manage data and write programming to operate machinery. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, CIS or related plus 12 years related experience. Demonstrated ability with: Programming languages such as: LabVIEW, Teststand; Selecting and creating code to interface with data acquisition systems such as NI hardware, Measurement and Computing and PLCs (Automation Direct family brands, Allen Bradly, Omron…); Saving and managing databases and results in Microsoft Access, SQL, TDMS, CSV; Interfacing with and processing Analog; Digital, PWM and Frequency signals; Creating user-friendly PC-based Graphical Interfaces and HMIs; Communication protocols such as Allen Bradley Ethernet/IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, Serial; Reading electrical schematics using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and Visio; Vision System and Barcode Scanners; Keyence and Banner Engineering product lines.
