JOB TITLE: Product Owner
LOCATION: 10 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL 60603. Telecommuting permitted up to 80% of the week.
DUTIES: Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with experts and end-users to capture use cases, business processes, data, and technology requirements. Formulate insights and design action plans to leverage new ideas regarding product designs and improvements to existing product offerings. Analyze and solve problems while using data to influence stakeholders. Spearhead and collaborate with business partner and use DaaS (Decision as a System) to create scenario specific business rules. Perform root cause analysis to identify potential risks associated with current and future state processes. Translate features into user stories by creating and prioritizing backlog to reflect stakeholder's requirements. Align roadmap to meet OKR's (Objectives and Key Results). Coordinate with multiple teams on sprint and release planning. Act as the voice of customer to confirm shared vision alignment.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in any field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as Product Owner, IT Consultant, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Scrum; Agile development methodologies; product backlog management; and specific tools including Decision as a Model (DaaS), Signavio, JIRA, Confluence, and Alteryx.
