Job Description
Analyze the various spend data from several data sources and derive the statistical fact-based models that drive the Global Purchasing team in decision making process. Increase Spend visibility and transparency by resolving various Procurement Data. Quality issues of data source which is used to purchase direct and indirect materials. Extract data from databases utilizing extensive SQL queries that involve complex joins. Base SAS programming and application development using Java and Python to create, extract and maintain data extractions from legacy systems. Provide Data Mining solutions to various business problems and generate data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI. Initiate processes to improve customer satisfaction by enhancing inventory accuracy, material delivery times, superior material quality, and efficient material planning parameters. Utilize CorVu Business Analytics, Oracle OBIEE, Excel VBA, Microsoft Access, and other advanced Excel techniques to analyze the raw spend data, identify the root cause and develop recommendations. Work closely on global implementations of QAD’s MFG Pro ERP system, ensuring successful migration from numerous corporate legacy systems. Coordinate functional and operational requirements for ERP solution for Cost Accounting, Pricing, and Accounts Receivable. Liaise with business on project status, issue resolution, and documentation of current state. Create quality reporting, analysis, and audits for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools for business; and closely associate with various business groups and managers within the organization, gather the functional requirements and closely work with IT group to ensure they follow business requirements. Travel/relocation required to other unanticipated locations throughout the US.
Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States is required. International travel is not required. Exact client site location cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability
2 years of experience in Utilizing CorVu Business Analytics, Oracle OBIEE, Excel VBA, and implementation of QAD's MFG Pro ERP system.
