Job Description
Capgemini America, Inc. (Sogeti division) seeks IT professionals to fill multiple positions in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Entry through Sr. level positions available.
Duties: Design and develop robust and scalable data models for data warehousing and data lake solutions. Install and upgrade application tools and products on different servers and apply patches. Create primary objects (tables, indexes, views) on databases such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server. Perform performance tuning, input/output tuning, and capacity planning. Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) solutions in Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter and Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. Orchestrate and schedule ETL jobs on tools such as Crontab, CA7 and Control-m. Develop scripts on UNIX/LINUX servers using shell scripting. Deploy database changes, Informatica Powercenter objects and UNIX scripts into production servers. Develop new packages/jobs on MS-SQL Server Integration Services, MS-SQL Server Analytical Services and MS-SQL Server Reporting Services. Design analytical reporting solutions on Enterprise Reporting tools such as Business Objects, OBIEE, Tableau and PowerBI. Utilize experience with ETL Tools: Informatica Powercenter; Reporting Tools: Business Objects, OBIEE, Tableau; Databases: Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; Languages: Shell Scripting, Oracle PL SQL; Operating Systems: Linux, MS-Windows; Version Control Tools: Github, uDeploy, Artifactory; Services and Support Tools: Oracle Data Warehouse Administration Console, CA7, Crontab.
