Full-Time Therapeutic Day School Social Worker (Oak Forest, IL)
Position Type: Remainder of the 2023-24 school year with potential for continued employment and participation in the 2024-25 Jumpstart Salary Program
About AnthroMed Education:AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in providing therapeutic services to students at a Therapeutic Day School in Oak Forest, IL. This position is for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year, with the potential for continued employment and participation in our Jumpstart Salary Program for the 2024-25 school year.
Location:Oak Forest, IL
Hours: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:+ Provide therapeutic social work services to students with communication deficits, including Autism.
+ Work with a population of non-verbal students in upper elementary to middle school.
+ Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to address social and emotional needs.
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
+ Implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavioral and emotional outcomes.
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
+ Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:+ Master’s degree in Social Work.
+ Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker. (PEL)
+ Experience working with non-verbal students, particularly those with Autism.
+ Ability to work with upper elementary to middle school-aged students.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
