+ Schedule: 3, 12- hour shifts , 6 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., every other Saturday and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities
Perform and oversee hemodialysis treatment.
+ Prepare patients for procedures by taking vital statistics and reviewing dialysis orders and lab work.
+ Set up and monitor equipment for procedures both during and after.
+ Note and document patient’s condition during procedure via observation, interview and monitoring of vital statistics; reports abnormal assessment findings.
+ Obtain, processe, and transport blood samples and culture specimens as ordered.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Hemodialysis Tech credentialed from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Hemodialysis Tech credentialed from the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology (BONENT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
+ Acute dialysis experience
+ ICU/CCU dialysis experience.
+ NxStage and BBraun machine experience.
+ CAPD experience.
