Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships. Work collaboratively with other cross functional departments to build and refine Go To Market assets.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years of relevant FP&A and/or EPM experience. Experience supporting and influencing cross functional Go-To-Market departments . Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

As part of the Sales Consulting Specialist Team, the Senior Sales Consultant directly interacts prospective clients and customers to analyze their requirements, configure and demonstrate a value oriented solution, and enlighten the customer on potential pathways to success. This role will work collaboratively with cross functional departments as Oracle NetSuite continues to expand the NetSuite EPM and Analytic offerings.

Responsibilities:

As a subject matter expert, the Senior Sales Consultant provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations, demonstrations, and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Perform needs gathering and requirement analysis for existing customers. Develop and deliver high quality value-based Oracle presentations and demonstrations, articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions to all levels including line of business managers, technical engineers, and “C” level executives. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships. Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities

Skills :

+ 5 years of relevant FP&A experience, with a demonstrated understanding of Planning & Budgeting, Financial Consolidations, Account Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting.

+ Understanding of GAAP and accounting functions, including experience working NetSuite or other ERP applications is certainly a plus.

+ BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable

+ Prior experience in sales, sales consulting, or software consulting is optimal but not necessary

+ Previous EPM / CPM application experience in one or more of the following desired: NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion, Planful, etc.

+ Previous BI application experience in one or more of the following is certainly a plus: NetSuite Analytic Warehouse (NSAW), Oracle Analytics, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

+ Ability to efficiently craft and configure proof-of-concept solutions during a fast-paced sales cycle.

+ Experience supporting and influencing cross functional Go-To-Market teams including Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Product Management.

+ Interpersonal skills a must

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, presentation skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems with accounts in complex technical environments.

+ Ability to travel as needed

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $37.64 to $76.49 per hour; from $78,300 to $159,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 – 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
