Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a JDE Business Analyst Warehouse/Distribution to be based out of our Mokena or Philadelphia offices. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Inventory, Warehousing and Shipping functionality and related modules.
The primary responsibility of this position will be to support our North American facilities running Atkore's JD Edwards and RF Smart solutions. This position will require 10-15% travel overall.
What you'll do:
The JDE Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Inventory, Warehousing and Shipping functionality and related modules. You will support the RF Smart scanning data collection software as it is integrated with the related JDE modules. Key activities will be designing, configuring, writing specifications, and testing new implementations. You will also work as liaison between the business users and the technical team performing functional support in a customer service environment.
The ideal candidate will need to understand business requirements and how they relate to functionality in the JDE ERP application, and interoperability between JDE and other applications. Attention to detail and good documentation skills are critical to this effort.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Provide technical analysis and problem resolution to support requests received from system users located in disparate company locations Spend time at locations engaging users directly.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by presenting options based on best practices.
Produce user documentation for applications standard work and training.
Provide application support and training for JDE software.
Provide technical support and mentoring for the JDE Enterprise One package to other IT staff.
Participate in internal Lean and Kaizen events.
What you bring:
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience implementing enterprise IT applications, defining, and mapping business processes, and understanding integration between various applications.
Strong business knowledge of the J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 ("JDE ERP") package with specific focus on the Inventory, Shipping, and Warehousing functionality.
3-5 years of experience as an analyst working with JDE and the Warehouse and Inventory modules.
3-5 years of working with users/customers providing communications related to addressing their needs and concerns.
Experience working with users, developers, and other analysts to resolve to provide resolution to an issue.
Experience working with 3rd party software integrated with JDE such as data collection and/or scanning software.
Skill at troubleshooting complex issues using your knowledge of JDE and Communication skills.
Within 3 months, you'll:
Complete your new hire "Immersion" so that you are ready to rock in your new role.
Become acquainted and comfortable with the JDE BA team.
Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
Be well-versed in Atkore's procurement processes as well as business and IT solutions.
Be able to provide limited customer support for production and continuous improvement activities.
Within 6-months, you'll:
Spend time at Atkore's sites running JDE & RF Smart and engage users directly to help improve day to day operations.
Have started to become a subject matter expert for Atkore-specific business processes and IT solutions.
Be a competent and comfortable in problem-solving and providing full production support with limited assistance.
Be able to make recommendations regarding business processes and IT solutions.
Within 12-months, you'll:
Partner with Sr. BA's to completely own Atkore's Warehouse and Logistics solution portfolio.
Facilitate decisions regarding the JDE solution and be seen as a go-to person for problem solving and support.
Be able to strategically identify needed improvements, changes, and modifications and turn those ideas into action.
Take the companies goals and ensure that all solution requirements and requests put forward are in alignment with those goals.
