Job Description
Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Chicago, IL) to be responsible for designing, analyzing, permitting and preparing drawings and technical specifications, construction services, and operational support for solid waste management facilities and transfer stations; leading a multi-disciplinary team executing all aspects of solid waste projects, including civil, air, environmental, hydrogeological, geotechnical, ecological, and survey disciplines; and client management and project management.
Must hold a Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering. Must have one (1) year of previous work experience in the position offered or related managing daily construction activities and providing engineering support for municipal solid waste facilities.
Must know (through academic training or work experience) developing, monitoring, and managing construction cost estimates and schedules; and crafting numerous technical engineering reports, which included the preparation of tender bid documents, work plans, schedules, and their effective communication to field personnel.
