Speech Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow) – AnthroMed Education
Location: Burbank, IL
Position Type: Full-time, 2024-25 School Year
Position Salary Range: $58,000 – $65,000
Overview: AnthroMed Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows) to join our dynamic team for the upcoming school year. This unique opportunity involves providing speech and language services to students within a state-of-the-art center in Burbank, IL. As an integral part of AnthroMed Education, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide speech and language services to students in a self-contained setting.
+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
+ Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) techniques and tools to enhance communication skills (AAC experience highly preferred).
+ Support students ranging from Kindergarten to Transition. (Typically, the caseload is shared between the onsite Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) by splitting them according to age groups.)
+ Participate in professional development activities and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
+ Eligibility for clinical fellowship as per ASHA guidelines.
+ IL PEL (SLP endorsement required before the first day of the school year)
+ AAC experience is highly preferred.
