We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our client’s IT team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other IT professionals and administrators to manage the digital environment, ensure high levels of availability, and help evolve our systems to support the objectives of the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, install, configure, and maintain system hardware and software.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.

3. Monitor systems performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

4. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

5. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in problem resolution.

6. Consult with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve problems.

7. Create and maintain documentation on system configuration and network topology.

8. Assess and identify new technologies and software appropriate for implementation.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; advanced degree a plus.

2. Proven working experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.

3. Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).

4. Proficiency in system engineering techniques and computing architectures.

5. Strong knowledge in Windows and Linux server environments.

6. Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux and Windows-based environments.

7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

9. IT-related certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies a plus.

10. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
