Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 12 Hour Day, Rotation

Pay Range: $26.08-$41.45

WestRock is looking for Maintenance Technicians for our 12-hour rotating night shift to support our Production / Manufacturing facility in New Lenox. This role is right for you are a strong mechanical problem solver with some electrical experience in a manufacturing environment!

Role Overview:

Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs and may also work on tasks related to building maintenance and construction.

What you need to succeed:

• Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge

• Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment

• Some knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems

• 3 years of manufacturing experience in a maintenance environment.

• General safety, lockout/tagout, HAZMAT, forklift safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness, and quality system awareness.

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, O.E.M. instructions and specifications.

• Prior work experience in a manufacturing facility

• High school or technical school education
