Job Description

Mechanical Engineers will work in a collaborative team environment focused on building systems design for our clients including design of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, plumbing, fire protection and building automation systems. Training and mentoring is a core belief in our firm. As an entry-level engineer, you will learn the basic skills necessary to design the high performance systems to support the facility needs of our clients. Our firm is a signatory to the AIA 2030 Challenge and as such, we are committed to education of our clients and staff to develop the net zero carbon systems necessary for a sustainable future.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing commercial HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Learning the technical skills necessary to support our client’s needs
  • Learning the design skills necessary to deliver high performance systems
  • Daily collaboration with a team of architects and engineers
  • Field verification of existing site conditions
  • Construction site visits and field observation

An ideal candidate for this role will be a graduate engineer with 0-2 years of experience, who enjoys collaboration and interaction to complete a common set of goals. This candidate will have confidence in their abilities, and will enjoy sharing the knowledge they have gained in support of a team. They will be a leader and mentor, utilizing a collaborative approach in support of the internal team as well as client projects.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 4 year degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
