Manager, Pricing & Sales Enablement (Remote)

Position Summary

As a Manager of Pricing & Sales Enablement you are responsible for managing and supporting a team of business development analysts & Commercial Sales Team using data analytics to identify and closing new business. This requires daily engagement with both aforementioned teams, identifying roadblocks within the selling process and offering solutions and a path forward. You are also responsible for monitoring and reporting on all open sales targets to ensure each team member has an appropriate number of sales leads in their pipeline and ensuring that the business we have designated as closed is coming to fruition as expected. You will also be connected to other leaders within the FSBU and will partner with them on delivering their goals for their respective departments.

This position requires advanced critical thinking, advanced understanding of business processes and how to drive business value, and strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.

Position Scope

+ Develop elements of deal for identified sales enablement targets to provide to sales team. Elements include:

+ Understanding competitive landscape contemplating geography & operator category to develop a hook for the customer

+ Leveraging current position at account to acquire new business

+ Proposed pricing/program on like item matches

+ Proposed pricing on alternate product matches

· Collect and distribute monthly KPI Reporting

· Operate as liaison between sales and any other cross functional area in the business to knock down roadblocks in the sales process

· Hold business development analysts accountable to providing agreed upon opportunity # to sales team

· Maintain tracking mechanism for all assigned and awarded sales enablement accounts to ensure tracking accuracy

· Demonstrate natural leadership and communication skills to instill confidence in business executive team of your expertise and capability.

· Provide recommendations to FSBU leadership based on business case and profitability analysis for any review outside of established DOA



- Bachelors degree in a related discipline is required

- 2-3 years of previous Sales management experience is required

- Previous experience translating sales data and analytics is required

- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

The compensation range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is Minimum: $106,600/yr. – Maximum $177,600/yr.
