LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Sr. Windows & VMWare Systems Engineer for a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in downtown Chicago, IL!

The candidate will work with a Chicago based team supporting a large enterprise organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to day-to-day operational tasks around Windows Server, VMware vSphere 7, SRM for DR, and VMware NSX-T.
Requirements:
+ Minimum 6 years experience in Windows Server & VMWare administration and configuration
+ Expert knowledge in VMware vSphere (pref., ver. 7)
+ Expert knowledge in Windows Servers (pref., ver. 2016 & 2019)
+ Hands on experience with VMWare NSX Micro-segmentation
+ Good knowledge of disaster recovery technologies for virtualized & cloud environments, including and especially VMWare Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
+ Experience in planning and execution of upgrades/migrations
+ In-depth experience installing/configuring/maintaining hosts
+ Good knowledge of backup technologies for large virtualized & cloud environments
+ Familiarity with advanced storage solutions in virtualized environments is preferred (such as Pure Storage)
+ Third-party candidates will not be considered.
