Process Improvement Manager

Job Description

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

+ Bachelor’s Degree + 6 years of experience in process improvement, supply chain management, project management, or operations management OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in process improvement, supply chain management, project management, or operations management.

+ A minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience.

+ Ability to partner with others to define, communicate, prioritize and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and strategies to support the growth and scaling of the business.

+ Demonstrated change management, project management, communication, and leadership skills and experience. Change Management Certification or Project Management Certification Preferred.

+ At least four (4) successful transformational experiences where Lean principles (i.e. 5S, CIP, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) were utilized as part of the change. Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred.

+ Proven success designing and achieving metrics (examples: reducing supply chain costs, improving throughput, quality, inventory turns, and reducing cycle times and rework).

+ Ability to use and advise team on the use of quality tools such as surveys, gap analysis, pareto analysis, fish-bone diagrams, 5-Why, SIPOC, VSM, and process mapping for fact-based decision making.

+ Proficient in various systems and tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheet, Visio, Tableau, project management tools, Kanban boards, exception and workflow automation platforms, and other data and analytics tools. Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred.
