Job Description
EMPLOYER’S NAME: RedMane Technology LLC.
POSITION TITLE: Software Engineer(s).
POSITION DUTIES: Develop and implement object-oriented n-tier software applications, including web-based applications, using Curam software. Full life cycle software development, including detailed functional and technical design of web enabled business applications, database and user interface design, development and maintenance of web applications, unit and system testing, and deployment and maintenance of web applications. Work on projects related to the modernization of legacy systems in a Health and Human Service environment. Work on projects that utilize VB.NET, C#, C++, C, Java (J2EE), JSP, JSF, Javascript, PHP, XML/XLST, HTML, UML, CSS, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Eclipse, Apache/Tomcat, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft Visio, and/or Microsoft Suite. Create source codes according to specifications and unit test programs to ensure they work according to specifications. Develop system test programs to ensure a group of programs work correctly together and prepare program documentation. Provide technical assistance to team members on the design and development of customized software programs. Provide training and develop training documentation on how to use and/or maintain software programs and how to use and/or maintain software. Telecommuting Permitted.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Advanced Java programming. 2) Curam product Core framework. 3) Curam product IEG framework. 4) Curam product Batch framework. 5) Advanced SQL for the purpose of data management and analysis.
