Job Description

Medline Industries, LP is seeking Sr. IS Developer Analyst(s) (MFG) to design and implement solutions that support the Manufacturing divisions within Medline. In addition, this position will work closely with the business community to perform technical analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include new program development, configuration of existing systems, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options. 
 
Job responsibilities and duties include: 
 
Design, develop, and test custom web applications. 

Work independently on high complexity designs & programs 

Write high-quality code to meet end user requirement. 

Support users during User Acceptance Testing. 

Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). 

Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support manufacturing application software. 

Create technical system designs that meet the business needs. 

Work closely with business users and business analysts to determine business requirements and translate them to system requirements. 

Deliver quality solutions with minimal rework. 

Provide on-call support for critical issues during non-working hours as documented in team support schedule. 

Consider the need for other team members to support their areas of responsibility and openly shares an understanding of these areas. 

Keep management, other team members and other departmental employees aware of obstacles and status changes in a timely manner. 

Use proper judgment to determine when such communication is necessary. 

Work independently on high complexity designs & programs. 

Facilitate design meetings with users, management, and architects. 

Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution. 

Follow and help to establish architectural standards. 

Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts. 

Support existing systems and prioritize and escalate issues. 

Understand manufacturing business concepts and practices. 

Estimate effort and write technical specifications that accurately reflect the design requirements and standards. 

Create functional code from design specifications for new development, enhancements, or maintenance projects. 

Analyze database constructs and create database design specifications associated with new development or enhancements. 

Support existing applications following documented procedures for change control and issue tracking. 

Provide customer support and conduct customer training as required. 

Works with manager to proactively seek opportunities to improve skills and knowledge through training opportunities. 
 
This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any other employees.

Minimum requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronical or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a foreign degree equivalent. 
 
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: 
 
1.   Web API development using .Net. 
2.   Object Relational Mapping (Entity Framework) and ADO.Net 
3.   SQL Server 2016 
4.   C#.NET 
5.   ASP.NET Web Forms 
6.   Windows Forms and WFP environment 
7.   JavaScript 
8.   BitBucket, GIT or Clear Case 
9.   Jira 
 
No travel required; Work from home (WFH) benefit available three (3) days a week. 
 
Provides on-call support for critical issues during non-working hours.
