Job Description
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Entry-Level Project Engineer in our Chicago, IL location, supporting the Process Automation team at our ProLeit subsidiary. This is a great opportunity to
work within a small growing entity as part of the larger Schneider Electric corporation.
What will you do?
- Plan, design, and execute software engineering and commissioning work for ProLeiT's U.S. based
business in-house and on-site (25% travel to customer sites within North America). - Provide software programming in complex process automation setups, primarily in
the brewing and food industry. - Perform other duties adjacent to your responsibilities as Project Engineer that may be reasonably assigned to you by your manager
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related process discipline. Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, and process engineering preferred.
- Microsoft SQL programming experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC and batch system programming experience preferred.
