Job Description
Scope of Job:
Design financial software solutions for derivatives, equities, and Over the Counter (OTC) markets that are sold to investment firms, banks, and other financial companies. Plan, direct,
manage, and oversee operations, administer budget, manage staff and physical facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designing and monitoring software products to migrate a new client’s infrastructure to ATEO’s.
• Translating protocols between traders, brokers, sellers and exchanges to ensure straight through processing (STP).
• Oversight of the smooth migration of middle office systems of bank/brokers to the US Exchange’s middle office solution; either to complete a switch to new products or for the integration
of new features.
• Updating in house Financial Inter Exchange (FIX) modules (30+ gateways) to ensure compatibility with every trading, clearing and drop copy feeds.
• Updating numerous gateways to connect the US Exchange’s different products to the different Application Programming Interaction (API)'s available on the market.
• Various exports to middle-office systems.
• Various exports to back-office systems.
• Monitoring modules for effectiveness.
• Ensuring protocols between clients and sellers work with all of the American exchanges - including the CME suite (5 exchanges), the ICE suite (8 exchanges), Montreal, OCC, NLX,
MGEX, DMX.
• Ensuring protocols between clients and sellers also work on European exchanges our American clients trade on.
• All the specific developments requested by customers in assigned zone or modules.
