Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Analyst for its Schaumburg, Illinois location.

Duties: Develop and implement effective fraud detection and prevention strategies to mitigate identity theft and application fraud losses. Develop statistical and decision tree models to detect potential fraud applications. Implement model strategy and validate model performance in order to ensure model efficiency. Perform Model Improvement and Rule Optimization. Build tracking reports to explore model improvement opportunity. Create decision trees to evaluate rule logic optimization feasibility. Implement optimized models with better fraud detection performance, lower referral volume, and better customer experience. Perform Strategy and Model Validation. Build model validation reports to ensure model is implemented as expected. Lead the CMT (Change Management Tool) implementation process to guarantee correct model implementation into production. Support large scale projects including testing and deployment of new vendor scores, and development of business cases for new technology. Validate and evaluate existing vendor fraud scores. Perform Ad-hoc Tracking and Monitoring Analysis. Research and investigate rule logic decks for multiple business cases. Analyze and present findings to fraud policy team on requested fraud review cases. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or closely related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analytics Analyst, or related position. 3 years of experience must include: Developing statistical models; Validating model performance for evaluating model efficiency; Analytics reporting and tracking; SQL, Business Analytics, Applied Econometrics and Time SER ANLS, Prescriptive Analytics; Excel/Spreadsheet Modeling and Analytics, Market Predictive Analytics; and Working within a large and complex Database Environment; and Unix.
