Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their team in the Chicago area! Our aggressive growth plans have created an exciting opportunity for the right salesperson looking to chart their course and create their success.

Consulting Services is the IT/Engineering staffing division of Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS). As a global leader in information technology, LRS has earned a reputation for valuing employees and providing opportunities for career growth. Compensation will consist of a base salary plus a rewarding commission plan. We offer a hybrid work model with WFH on Monday and Friday.

Account Executives are responsible for the primary face-to-face contact with named accounts in the more significant Chicago territory. These accounts will include prospects and existing customers. Your goal will be to secure the sale of information technology services and solutions within these accounts.

This Account Executive position could potentially offer substantial professional growth opportunities.

Performance objectives for this position:

+ Meet or exceed your sales plan goal: Based on your region, you will receive an annual minimum gross profit sales objective which must be met through closed staffing sales.

+ Learn and execute LRS’ sales methodology: You will need to work with your manager to learn and understand the value of our overall staffing services. You will prospect via telephone, face-to-face and social media into your named accounts so by the end of the first 3 months you are scheduling a targeted number of face-to-face meetings set by management.

+ By the end of the first five months, create a pipeline of service opportunities so you are able to meet the required number of new staffing requirements per week and staffing wins per month.

+ Stay current on the IT and Engineering needs of your accounts: Manage relationships within your territory of named accounts so that you are aware your customers’ needs and are in a position to demonstrate how LRS can meet those needs. You will develop relationships with customers and prospects so that the customer will continue a dialogue with you.

+ Develop Relationships with New and Potential Clients: Efficiently handle follow-up phone calls and meetings with your customers and prospects to move the potential clients towards closing business with LRS. Turn information obtained from prospect/customer meetings into new sales opportunities.

+ Maintain and utilize required electronic records about current and clients, and opportunities in our ATS. Review those records with LRS management during periodic territory reviews.

+ Your success in this position will be measured by your ability to close contracts so that you achieve your gross profit goal. Your interim progress will be determined by your ability to establish, maintain, and move opportunities forward with decision makers in these companies.

Candidate Requirements:

+ You must have at least three years of staff augmentation sales experience for enterprise-level companies.

+ Effectively written and verbal communication skills.

+ Must have permanent authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorship is available.

+ Must reside in the Chicago area and be willing to work from our downtown office on days you are not WFH or visiting customers.

You may be a stronger candidate if you have prior IT staffing experience, and your account experience is within the territory for this position. Consideration may be given for candidates who have at least five years of technology solution sales experience in lieu of staffing augmentation.

Organization Structure and Interfaces:

A Sr. Vice President manages the LRS Consulting Services Group, and you will be part of a team that includes Account Executives, Recruiters, and Office Administrators. You will report to the area branch manager.

Salary range: $100k -150k+ total compensation. This salary range represents base salary, draw, and on-target earnings in the first year. The base salary will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The total compensation will vary depending on performance and has the potential for substantially more than the range posted. The range listed is just one component of LRS’ total compensation package for employees.
