Job Description
We are currently hiring for a 1st shift TIG Welder who will join our team in Bensenville, IL. You will have the opportunity to join a growing company with a great culture, benefits, and health insurance.
Description: 1st shift 8am-4:30pm
This position is for a TIG Welder in a job shop environment. Candidates will be hired to take a blueprint/job order, gather the materials or kit that will be needed for the job then go in the shop area to fabricate components to meet specifications. All of their products are stainless steel, carbon, or aluminum materials.
Candidates will complete mainly TIG welds some MIG on stainless steel in their hosing department (3/16"). The welds will vary depending on the size of the hose. 1 Year of TIG experience required – open to recent grads as well.
Candidates will also be required to be a part of the assembly process, using hand and power tools. Assembling hydraulic hoses and ensuring things are functioning properly along with fitting properly.
Candidates may be performing the following jobs
Utilizing a tool room (manual) lathe to machine parts
Utilizing a band saw to cut piping to the appropriate sizing
Utilizing various gauges (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauges, tape measure) to measure parts and then check for quality
Cleaning and peeping parts for final assembly
