About the Position: This position is located at the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC). Responsibilities Estimating tooling requirements, checking/approval of tool designs and special process studies. Plans, reviews, analyzes, and inspects the work of Tool Designers. Reviews work completed by subordinates. Provides advice, counsel, and instruction to accomplish the assigned function. Interviews candidates for vacant positions and recommends selections. Counsels subordinates regarding career potential and opportunities. Makes frequent visits to the production floor to meet with tool makers, machinists, and other subordinates. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
