Job Description
Description:
+ Refine and oversee existing accounting processes with the goal of utilizing automation to streamline and strengthen existing tasks.
+ General ledger account reconciliations as a part of normal close procedures, both oversight and execution.
+ Assists with all corporate audits.
+ Develop SOP’s for key accounting tasks and work with existing staff to learn and optimize recurring processes.
+ In Coordination with Alpha’s Information Technology department, guide the design, implementation and testing of accounting technologies to achieve improvements in established goals.
+ Performs other duties as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ BA in Accounting, advanced degree or CPA preferred
+ 5-10 yrs experience in Accounting
+ Previous experience with automation management
+ Excel- Sumif, index match, choose, function look up, etc
