Intel is on a transformational journey to standardize our business processes and system landscape in support of our business strategy. We are seeking an IT System Analyst with tax and country localization experience, along with a strong track record of building end-to-end system solutions to support business requirements. This requires partnering and collaboration across business groups while leading innovation and positive change. Key areas of focus are indirect tax and localization (statutory) solutions to meet country-specific external tax and financial reporting requirements. The Tax and Localization System Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

+ Building SAP Central Finance technology solutions that transform Intel’s global Finance function.

+ Integrating finance solutions with order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes and systems, ensuring all work together seamlessly to meet tax and localization requirements.

+ Influencing how SAP data parameters should be set-up to enable indirect tax calculations and reporting that support Intel’s tax and statutory reporting requirements.

+ Engaging a team of subject matter experts and key users to understand current and design to-be processes.

+ Partnering with business stakeholders to gather tax requirements and to design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support system solutions.

+ Leading business requirements and system design discussions around business needs, fully leveraging SAP product capabilities as well as those from our tax engine, OneSource, and other tax applications.

+ Collaborating on master data elements and other data attributes required for tax determination, compliance, reporting, and decision-making.

+ Working closely with our integration partners to define future end-to-end processes and solutions.

+ Working with project team and business stakeholders to arrive at key business decisions as they relate to process changes and system configurations.

+ Working with our integration and internal partners to develop change management strategies, capture change impacts, and implement organization changes triggered by various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, or a related field, or a combination of additional education/relevant experience (e.g. military, trade school, work, etc.)

+ 5+ years of experience in IT, with ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP leveraging BAPIs and other standard SAP tools.

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP ERP systems, with at least 2 of those years working with SAP tax and AP/AR integration into SAP FICO with large global enterprises across multiple legal entities in a highly complex environment. Experience with GST, VAT, sales, use, and withholding taxes within the SAP environment.

+ Understanding of SAP parallel ledgers and localization

+ Strong understanding of financial transactional flows in SAP

+ Ability to lead requirements and influence the design of repeatable and scalable processes.

+ Proven track record of collaboration across multiple organizations, business partners and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Expertise in large scale business transformation

+ Strong understanding of finance business processes and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP capabilities with minimal or no customization.

+ Experience with OneSource and integrations with other related SaaS platforms like Ariba, Blackline, etc. is preferred.

+ Experience with S4 HANA is a big plus.

+ Good understanding and experience with Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes within SAP.

+ Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with high internal drive and an ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information.

+ Strong relationship building and influencing skills; able to mediate opposing viewpoints; work well in a team environment.

Intel’s Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $99,487.00-$149,235.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
