The Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) group at Intel develops industry-leading microelectronic packaging technologies for Intel’s Client and Data Center CPUs, Graphics and Networking products, and Intel Foundry Services customers.

This position is to seek for a Sort Interface Design Engineer in the Sort Interface Development department within Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) organization.

Sort Interface Development Team Develops Silicon Interface Probing Technologies that achieves best in class reliable sort/test capability for Intel leading manufacturing process nodes and advanced package technologies.

As a Sort Interface Design Engineer, responsibilities included but not limited to the followings:

+ Performing research, design and development of test equipment, software library, program flow, fixture hardware, probing module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly

+ Driving technology pathfinding, architecture development, design material gathering and development of test library

+ Determining test parameters, conducting design, review of test fixture, debugging, resolving design and implementation issues, performing testability and fault coverage analysis

+ Meeting production, quality and reliability requirements and updating test and/or fixture as needed through product life cycle

+ Planning and scheduling daily tasks use judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (3+ years of experience) or a master’s degree (2+ years of experience) in electrical engineering or an equivalent Engineering degree.

Preferred qualifications:

1+ years of experience in the following:

+ Experience with schematic capture and PCB physical design using Cadence Concept and Allegro or similar CAD tools.

+ Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/digital circuit, signal/power integrity, etc.)

+ Familiarity with simulation tools like Cadence Sigrity is a plus.

+ Programming and debugging skills with OOP (Python preferred).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $92,847.00-$148,355.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
