Bartender
PeopleReady in Joliet, IL, is now hiring Bartenders for an exciting event with the National Hot Rod Association!

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 /hour plus tips.
What you’ll be doing as a Bartender:
- Serve drinks.
- Mix drinks according to recipes and serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to every client.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.
- Help maintain a safe environment including monitoring the clients’ level of consumption limit.
- Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
- Deliver an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times.
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Bartender experience preferred.
- Certification as a mixologist from a reputable bartending school preferred.
- Basset certification required (People Ready will provide certification if needed).
- Must be able to lift 20-pound boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- Background check required.
- Must complete customer orientation packet.
- Dress Code – black shirt with collar, black pants (sweatpants or saggy pants not allowed), black belt, black slip-resistant shoes, hair neat and pulled back
