Job Description
Medline Industries, LP in Northfield, IL is seeking experienced Sr. Analyst(s) (SAP MFG) to contribute to the SAP S/4 Manufacturing Product team and be responsible for the Plan to Produce process including leading the operational support, enhancements, and release management of the S/4 Manufacturing systems. In addition, this position will be responsible for working on the solution extension for any business expansion, including fit/gap against the template Medline solution, new system build elements, testing and regression testing, deployment, and support.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
Support and Enhancement of the SAP MFG system
Understand Medline business processes in Manufacturing, Supply chain and related areas.
Support, architect, design and help with requirements elicitation in MM & PP modules within SAP S/4 and ECC systems.
Author & communicate business process design (BPD), business systems design (BSD) and system test plans.
Apply knowledge of all 3 PP manufacturing processes (Discrete, Process and Repetitive).
Complete the functional specifications for any interfaces, forms and extensions required in the S4 HANA PP/MFG work stream.
Conduct unit testing, functional and system integration testing, both functional and security, and triaging system deficiencies when they occur.
Handle the interfaces between ECC and S4 HANA SAP systems, any third party system integrations, root cause and fix errors.
Triaging issues and defects and track and report on resolution and perform root cause analysis.
This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any other employees.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a foreign degree equivalent.
In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the company will accept a Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field of study, plus at least seven (7) years of postdegree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a foreign degree equivalent.
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:
1. Manufacturing process and SAP S4 HANA.
2. SAP systems, including implementing S/4 and ECC manufacturing solutions.
3. Demonstrated knowledge in SAP MM & PP modules and SAP MM & PP master data.
4. EDI functions and usages.
10% domestic travel required to perform site visits. Work from home (WFH) benefit available up to 3 days per week.
