Job Description
Design, develop, test, and commission industrial level control systems for various applications in the field of Automation. Execute projects from design phase through to commissioning phase involving client communication, project layout, designing required software and hardware, vendor management, developing and testing software and communications in-house, implementing and testing systems in-field, commissioning and handover, procedure documentation, etc. Build skills in the latest technologies. Train and guide level I and level II engineers on sophisticated systems and safety compliance. Use project management skills such as proposal writing, task scheduling, budget planning, issue tracking, risk management. Program a wide variety of PLCs using industry rated hardware. Build compatible HMIs that interface with the PLCs and provide efficient ways of operation, data monitoring, visualization, storage, and analysis. Set up complex communication interfaces between the PLCs and HMIs. Test and verity systems both in-office and on field to confirm full scope and functionality of various devices and interfacing involved in the project. Test various field devices such as analog and digital transmitters, VFDs, pumps, analyzers etc. Telecommuting is permitted.
