Senior HR Business Partner
Position Summary: Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources the Sr. HRBP serves as a trusted business advisor to the organization on HR-related programs and priorities. They will provide HR consultation and direction in the areas of people strategy, change management, organizational development, and leadership development for all manufacturing, ensuring alignment to the business strategy. Additionally, the Sr. HRBP will provide governance for all policies, procedures and program for manufacturing and provide expert counsel to other HRBP's. They will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and proactively communicate solutions. The Sr. HRBP collaborates to build trusted relationships that deliver value and reflects G&W's culture, vision, and values. They will act as a liaison between various HR functions and across to organization on priorities such as: Onboarding, Offboarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation, Talent Assessments, Succession Planning, and Engagement/Retention.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities:
Actively support HR Leadership Team in the provision of People initiatives that are aligned with the business vision and strategy of global growth and translating business vision into HR operational excellence strategies and plans, to implement change and support business development
Provide trusted thought leadership and HR/Employee Relations advice to all stakeholders, ensuring a balanced approach is taken to resolving all HR issues. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change
Drive accountability and provide day-to-day guidance to line management as it relates to-coaching, counseling, career development, succession and talent management, performance management and disciplinary actions
Develop and implement HR solutions that drive performance improvement and support the short- and long-term business objectives
Work proactively with managers and leaders to evaluate and prepare for future talent needs. Manage all internal transitions and promotions for hourly and salaried workforce to ensure appropriateness and eligibility.
Serve as a change management leader, effectively preparing managers and leaders to drive change
Partner with Corporate COEs (Center of Excellence) in leadership development, compensation, benefits and staffing to help drive organizational initiatives
Manage and develop plant apprenticeship program support
Provide admin backup for HR Performance Management system
Participate in and/or lead specific projects, as assigned. Support VP Global Human Resources with reports, metrics and other miscellaneous projects.
Develop/ maintain all policies
Support Learning and Development Opportunities
Leadership:
Team Leader: advises and coordinates team efforts to completion; answers questions functioning as an expert resource; maintains assignment completion schedules. Performs the same tasks as others within the team along with some higher-level tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of skill development and work experience
Minimum of 7-10 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues and progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment
Learning and Development experience
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. Should be proficient and comfortable working with spreadsheets and data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy is maintained
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and highly collaborative environment
Must possess leadership qualities with exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
