Job Description
- Evaluate and direct the operational activities of company that imports, assembles, sells and services specialized industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions for the electronics industry.
- Confer with management in Czech Republic to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems.
- Formulate, direct and coordinate all sales activities and policies to promote products and services, working with Technical Sales Manager and independent sales representatives.
- Use sales forecasting and/or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of DCT products, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
- Determine price schedules and discount rates.
- Analyze operations to evaluate performance of the company in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Prepare proposals for management approval, including those for marketing or implementation of new sales programs.
- Direct or coordinate activities of company departments in the U.S. includes sales and post-sale project management, administrative and financial.
- Hire and train all U.S. workers when authorized by senior management.
- Oversee the provision of technical support and complaint resolution for customers.
- Negotiate contracts or agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal or state agencies, or other organizational entities.
- Manage product delivery and supply chain processes for distributor of specialized industrial cleaning equipment and solutions.
- Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of DCT products.
- Represent DCT USA at trade association meetings to promote products.
- Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of the business and develop and implement procedures for continuous improvement.
- Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources as needed for life cycle of company products including supply, production and distribution.
- Develop proposals for purchasing or sales that include documentation for estimates.
- Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products.
- Redesign the movement of goods to maximize value and minimize costs.
- Coordinate with vendors of materials, equipment and supplies (primarily in Czech Republic) and research other sources, product availability, import feasibility and terms of sales.
- Direct team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
- Use knowledge of management, production and company software and knowledge of DCT cleaning technology to make recommendations for increased efficiencies.
- Use knowledge of implementation processes that are not automated and involve high human involvement to make recommendations to management on workforce allocation.
- Collaborate with Czech suppliers as necessary to meet customer requirements, to take advantage of sales opportunities or, in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts.
- Protect and control proprietary materials.
- Stay informed of logistics technology advances and apply appropriate technology to improve logistics processes.
- Develop and implement technical project management tools, such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or International Business; and 12 months experience in Job offered (Operations Manager) or 12 months experience as a Technical Sales Representative
Hours of employment: 37 hours – Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
