Job Summary:
Acts as the lead for analysis related to the design, implementation, support/maintenance, and enhancement of NU's enterprise, vendor and in-house developed applications with Admissions, Financial Aid and Student Finance as the focus areas. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. Instructs, directs, supports, and provides guidance to other business systems analysts, contractors and consultants, as necessary.
Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Manages and influences school, department, and core office representatives to ensure that user requirements are met, all gaps are documented, and all deliverables approved (adhering to approved methodology and documentation standards).
- Leads a team ensuring the proper installation, configuration, and functioning of enterprise systems. Also manages knowledge transfer of contractors to staff at project completion.
- Contributes to defining methodology and documentation standards, and periodically reviewing them to integrate appropriate industry practices.
- Represents organizational area in regard to advisory groups, planning committees, and similar standing work groups whose purpose is to develop requirements related to the implementation of enterprise business systems. &
