Job Description

Growing, stable company looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer!! Rockford area.

Description:

Preparing production plans

Manage new product designs for manufacturability

Responsible for identifying production requirements (new process, tools, fixtures, inspection requirements, shipping braces/brackets; work with Continuous Improvement)

Will order special equipment/tools needed for production

Provide kit & packaging requirements/instructions (crates, packing lists, etc

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS degree a must (Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing preferred)

8+ years of experience – more the better

Experience with continuous improve and lean manufacturing required

Experience mentoring junior engineers a plus as this position has great management potential

Solidworks or design experience a plus
