Title: Vendor Master Data Specialist (2 Openings) Location: Abbott Park, IL Duration: 5 Months Start Time (AM/PM): 7:30 AM End Time (AM/PM) : 4:10 PM No Hybrid Description: -This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. -Analyzes financial data and projects financial condition based on past performance and present earnings; reviews proposals and prepares analysis of feasibility and profitability. -4-6 years of experience. -Under general supervision, the Supplier Enablement Specialist will oversee and ensure the process of connecting and onboarding chosen suppliers to the client’s electronic systems it includes strategy development including supplier risk management, analysis, compliance policies, as well as continued education and communication. -The Vendor Master Data Manager is responsible for working cross-business and cross-functionally to drive vendor master data quality and data governance capabilities throughout the end-to-end life cycle of Vendor Master in all source systems. a) Oversee and ensure the process of supplier onboarding within the SAP Ariba Tool
b) Evaluate vendor monitoring and tracking processes
c) On a daily basis, perform SNOW and Casetracker ticker queue management
d) Initiate the registration and qualification questionnaire the SAP Ariba Tool
e) Run reports to review and follow up with suppliers who have not completed the onboarding
f) Escalation to CM when suppliers refuse to adopt
g) Follow up with suppliers on issuance of 1st PO to request they register in SLP
h) Manage Ariba Shared Service partnership, ensuring effective teams and coordinated execution
i) Manage transaction/integration failures working with Ariba and Supplier Education and Experience:
a) Education Required: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required.
b) Experience Required: 3-5 years of Supplier Enablement, Accounts Payable, Vendor Master and/or Finance experience in a large organization.
c) Preferred Experience: SAP MDG, SAP ARINA and SAP ERP Computer Skills:
a)Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SAP Financials or Ariba or other enterprise financial system. b)Advanced SAP Accounts Payable experience in a large organization is required.
Experience:
a)Looking for a candidate having SAP knowledge, Ariba SOB knowledge, vendor management preferred, vendor master activities, day-to-day work would be operations and account activities, follow-up, assisting supplier calls, managing supplier tool, knowledge of SAP tool
b)The degree is not mandatory if they have Ariba SOP knowledge or experience. c)Top soft skills- self-management, self-motivated, proactively looking for quality improvements, working effectively within a team d)Minimum- 3-5 years of experience e) MDM experience is nice to have, Ariba must have. f) Keywords- Ariba, supplier enablement, service now, or sop, or cash tracker, AP g)Interview- 1 round, remote video interview, with manager panel
