Job Description

Medline Industries, LP in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Manager IS Applications (SAP SD/OTC) to oversee the area supporting our Prime Vendor customers to build and maintain relationships with business leaders and stakeholders in multiple departments and drive ownership and acceptance of system changes to the business. In addition, this position will be involved with the business, functional, and technical teams to drive and oversee solutions and system changes within SAP and integrated systems and ensure that the overall composition of the solution meets the
business goals.
 
Job responsibilities and duties include:
 
Collaborate closely with business and technology partners on SAP system initiatives and issues and ensure timely completion and communication of deliverables.
 
Develop, manage, coach and mentor a team of business systems analysts that drives quality delivery of system initiatives.
 
Serve as trusted partner, advocate, and key resource for the SAP Order to Cash area.
 
Leverage standard solution development lifecycle processes to facilitate and deliver system requirements, functional design, process design - including scenario design, process flow mapping, prototyping, development, testing, training, deployment, and support procedures.
 
Work closely with business community to elicit and define requirements, goals and objectives, critical success factors and risk factors with goal of delivering correct system solutions.
 
Demonstrate SAP SD, OTC and Vistex expertise by architecting OTC solutions and carrying out technical solution reviews for scalability and reuse.
 
Engage with external customers on partner integration efforts for overall management of Order to Cash processes.
 
Manage prioritization of new Order to Cash initiatives and collaborate with other teams for cross-team requirements.
 
Identify scope and impact of enhancements and projects, estimate effort, develop detailed project plans, manage cutover tasks, and communicate status as required.
 
Responsible for cost containment within areas of responsibility.
 
Drive consistent communication with business and technology partners alike and communicate system issues and impacts to business stakeholders.
 
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to evaluate and propose design alternatives, optimize solutions, resolve defects, and minimize impact on system stability and performance.
 
This position will have at least six (6) direct reports including: Sr. IS Business Systems Analyst(s), IS Business Systems Analyst(s), Sr. EDI Analyst(s), EDI Analyst Associate(s).

 

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or any related IT or Management field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a foreign degree equivalent.
 
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
 
1.   Demonstrated experience with mentoring and coaching team members.
2.   Order-to-cash process.
3.   Demonstrated broad functional and process knowledge of the core business functions involved in order processing, delivery processing, billing, pricing agreements, and rebates.
4.   SAP ERP application configuration.
5.   Demonstrated experience with identifying the impact of process or data across more than one Functional area or SAP module.
6.   Demonstrated experience with data analysis and analytical skills, including debugging and troubleshooting issues.
7.   MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
 
No travel required. Work from home (WFH) benefit available 3 days a week.
