Job Description
Direct financial activities such as accounting & accounts payable activities of the university including financial compliance, financial reporting, accounting controls & procedures, year-end audit, & cash management. Coordinate and oversee annual audit performed by independent, external auditors. Ensure accurate & timely documenting of audit outcomes. Coordinate & execute various required internal audits including, but not limited to 403b, financial, & insurance audits. Produce routine & ad hoc reports. Oversee accurate & timely cash flow projections. Direct payables & receivables processes. Identify methods to automate & improve existing accounting processes. Complete bank reconciliations, analyzes budget variances, calculate & issue financial & operating metrics. Ensures maintenance of Adler’s accounting filing system & the chart of accounts. Supervise accounting staff.
