Head of Media and Partnerships

As we embark on an exciting new venture to expand our business into the media landscape, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to spearhead this initiative. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy and will involve creating and commercializing a media arm, building and managing partnerships, and integrating this new venture with our existing operations to unlock new opportunities across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Development and Commercialization: Lead the creation and execution of a robust strategy to develop, launch, and commercialize the media portion of our business. This includes identifying market opportunities, developing business models, and creating a sustainable revenue stream.
Content Strategy and Scalability: Direct the crafting and commercialization of relevant, scalable and marketable content that meets our brand and business objectives extending our reputation as the leading design and innovation firm in the world and helping fuel both direct revenue and opportunities for the rest of our business.
Partnership Development: Identify, develop, and lead strategic partnerships with other organizations to enhance our content offerings, extend our reach, and drive mutual growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally
Leadership and People Management: Embody inclusive leadership, prioritizing the growth and development of teams. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence, advocating for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment. Commit to recruiting, mentoring, and guiding a talented team, focusing on their motivation, engagement, and alignment with our business goals.
Business Integration and Synergy: Oversee business unit, identifying and implementing strategies to incorporate or deliver services in a way that generates new clients and finds synergies between business units. Drive the integration of business operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L and ensure financial targets are met, overseeing budgeting, and implementing financial strategies to maximize profitability and growth for this business unit.

Qualifications:
Proven deep experience in content creation, media business development, and commercialization of ideas, growing a business from the ground up.
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead partnerships with other organizations, particularly in the media and ventures spaces.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind.
Strategic thinker with the ability to oversee business operations, exploring new opportunities for growth and integration.
Solid understanding of financial management and experience running a sizable P&L.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this role will start at$220,000USD. However, base pay will be impacted by variables such as years of experience and location.
