Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow encouraged to apply!)
Location: Posen, IL
Position Type: Full-time, 2024-25 School Year
AnthroMed Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists to join our dynamic team for the upcoming school year. This unique opportunity involves providing bilingual speech and language services to PreK through Elementary students across two schools, conveniently located just 7 minutes apart in Posen, IL. As an integral part of AnthroMed Education, you’ll have the chance to positively impact the lives of bilingual learners while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) speech and language services primarily focusing on the needs of bilingual learners.
+ Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students across two self-contained classrooms.
+ Conduct Response to Intervention (RTI) for speech in a dual language classroom setting.
+ Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking parents regarding evaluations and other matters related to their 3 and 4-year-old children.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and the ability to individually adapt lessons to best meet the goals of each student.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
+ Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required (Must possess or be able to obtain before the start of the 2024-25 school year).
+ Hold or be eligible for licensure in Illinois.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish is required for this role)
+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
