Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment at the customer’s facility. You will professionally represent the company while interfacing with their valued customers meeting and exceeding their quality and service expectations.

Job Title: Field Service Technician

Payrate: $32-$38/hour based on experience

Location: Rolling Meadows, IL

Key Responsibilities

+ Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment

+ Interpret/read schematics and mechanical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, reference manuals and assembly systems instruction guides

+ Wire electrical components on machinery

+ Resolve service requirements over the phone if possible

+ Work with suppliers to resolved technical issues at customer sites

+ Working with automation or manufacturing equipment using machine builder/tool maker

+ Onsite field service experience working on capital/manufacturing equipment


+ A high school diploma or GED

+ Electrician license or certification

+ 3-6 years of experience in a hands-on mechanical/electrical environment

+ Must be familiar and able to use hand tools, voltage/pressure meters, measuring gauges and devices

+ Must possess a valid passport (or be able to obtain one)

+ Domestic and International travel up to 75%

+ Must have a valid drivers license

+ Must have experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
