Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator may include but are not limited to:

Provide quality, professional service to customers, carriers and teammates Communicate with teammates and carriers to direct truck dispatching using CarrierPoint Involvement with billing and processing shipments of rail and transload activities Assists in developing, strategizing, and negotiating freight rates Ensure visitors and contractors sign-in using the computer system, directing visitors/deliveries to destination Provide daily reports for Shipping Department and Sales Team Filling in at the trucks scales as needed (which may include shift/overnight) Process load requests, create and share reports, and other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ year experience in an administrative role 1+ year experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) in a business setting 1+ year experience with flatbed truck market, freight costs, and basic freight calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Experience with CarrierPoint TMS, DAT, or Sky Blue Logistics
